MusicACT supports all aspects of the Australian music industry by providing professional development, advice, resources, and authoritive recognition to the region’s industry professionals. MusicACT pursues policy development and advocacy to the government, businesses, and community.
Key Responsibilities
Leverage local, national, and international connections to expand the capabilities and career prospects of the region’s artists
Manage and facilitate MusicACT’s nation-leading Professional Development Program for musicians and music industry professionals
Industry development assistance, and consultation alongside the Director of the region’s peak music body
Advocate and develop industry-wide economic strategy alongside government, public, and private stakeholders
